    Our client is global leader in providing Engineering ????? ????? the Rail Industry and currently have and immediate vacancy for a Maintenance Supervisor, based in their Melbourne depot, you will be responsible for the supervision and allocation of work loads to all maintenance personnel in an efficient and safe manner.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supervision of day to day maintenance activities to a high level of technical competence to correct electrical and mechanical procedures.
    • Provide assistance in the development of maintenance personnel including all Faults Rectification, Fault Log Investigation, All Modifications Computer Based Training, including hands on demonstrations when required.
    • To take an active role and participate in maintenance review meetings on a daily basis.
    • Optimise the shopfloor delivery of the maintenance tasks through analysis of maintenance reports and data.
    • Ensure maintenance personnel are fully informed of all operational changes, impending tasks, etc prior to the commencement of each shift.
    • Ensure depot Occupational Health and Safety requirements are achieved in conjunction with Occupational Health and Safety Policies.
    • Ensure that individual Safety Behavioural Observations are completed on a weekly basis.
    • Ensure that all maintenance personnel comply with employee conditions. 
    • To coach, encourage and discipline maintenance employees when required. 

     

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Electrical / Mechanical Engineering ????? ????? Trade Diploma.
    • Rail Industry technologies knowledge accompanied with relevant compliance licenses.
    • Experience in service, maintenance and / or installation activities on relevant technologies.
    • Experience in the maintenance of Rollingstock and Locomotives is a major advantage.
    • Experience in a Supervisory role on relevant projects.
    • Drivers licence is required.
