One of the fastest and most progressive municipalities in Australia is currently seeking a traffic engineer to join their close knit team. Based in the South Eastern suburbs, this position is part of the Infrastructure Services Division and is responsible for providing expedient, accurate and appropriate responses to traffic issues within the municipality.

Your accountabilities will also include:

• Providing project management of consultants in the preparation of land use planning, and transport infrastructure planning strategies.
• Coordinating and preparing ????? ????? and Council reports, together with appropriate recommendations for consideration by the Manager.
• Undertaking the assessment of Town Planning proposals with regard to traffic impact.
• Undertaking traffic investigations and preparing ????? ?????.
• Responding to Council resolutions and public enquiries concerning traffic issues.
• Arrange traffic studies and implement effective traffic strategies that meet established standards, within approved time and funding limitations.
