Kinetic Recruitment is a leading supplier of engineering ????? ????? to the Rail Sector.

Our client is a leading provider in the rail passenger & freight industry who currently have a vacancy for a Rail Operations Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate operational performance to meet customer service level requirements.
Achieve programmed outcomes of train performance on a daily basis.
Implementation of daily operations plan.
Coordination of drivers and equipment.
Safe and efficient performance of train operations.
Developing plans and contingencies to meet scheduling requirements.
Liaison with ports and depots to ensure performance standards regarding train plans and container movements.
Communicate and build strong relationships with all key contacts throughout operating environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Solid experience of distribution operations in a high-pressure operation.
Experience in transport coordination is essential.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel.
Ability to respond effectively to changing operational environment.
Knowledge of relevant OH&S and regulatory requirements.
