Kinetic Defence is the leading supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace industries. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Product Development Engineer who is looking for a challenging role.
This position will see the successful applicant reporting to the General Manager for Product Engineering ????? ????? provide an excellent opportunity to expand your experience.
Primarily the role has input to the activities of the Product Development team with designs, drawings, product performance validations, technical and commercial documentation preparation and general duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and specification of new or modified products and components to meet the requirements of Australian and International product Standards
- Preparation of all necessary documentation (drawings, specifications, engineering ????? ????? Materials, preliminary costings, draft SOPs etc.) to enable preparation of prototypes, coordination of pilot production trials and the handover of designs for full production.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of technical and product related documentation, files and records to support product certification approvals.
- Participation in Product Development Project Team activities
The successful candidate will be required to meet the following criteria:
- Experience in Product Development and Product Management from Concept to Prototype
- Experience in both product development and manufacturing ????? ?????
- Engineering ????? ????? Electronics
