Based in Melbourne, this company is involved in a range of industries such as power & energy, oil & gas and heavy industry. Due to an increase in their workload a requirement has arisen for an experienced Primary Electrical Design Engineer to join their power & energy team on a contract basis.

This role will offer the opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on the design of some of the most challenging power infrastructure projects in Australia.

To be successful in this role you will have an Electrical Engineering Degree with extensive experience in Primary Substation Design within Australia. The role will involve developing power or protection single line diagrams, preparing layout designs of high voltage substations, designing substation protection & control systems. You will also be involved in designing AC/DC auxiliary systems, earth grids and lightning protection schemes, writing high voltage plant specifications and data sheets.

This role is available on an ongoing contract basis.
