Project Scheduler - Melbourne Kinetic Defence Services is Australias Leading Supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace sectors. We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join a highly specialised team within a leading organisation that operates nationally in a safety critical environment. You will be a subject matter expert in delivering ????? ????? in a multi project and diversified technical environment. This is a Melbourne based role that will involve some infrequent travel across Australia. You will be a key member of the project team and will influence the direction and success of projects. As an expert in your field, a key focus of this position is mentoring ????? ????? key stakeholders across the organisation. The Role:
- Management and Administration of the Project Scheduling System
- Support the planning, implementation and monitoring ????? ?????
- Analysis and maintenance of inter-project dependencies
- Maintain quality of data through liaison with Project Managers and resource providers
- Production of project schedules and resource demand reports for Management
- Advise on schedule conflicts and the impact of schedule variations
- Produce regular schedule status reports comparing ????? ????? baseline and previous period forecasts
- Analyse and report status position of schedules
Essential Criteria: - Experience with MS Project (min 3 years)
- Understanding of formal PM methodologies (eg. Prince 2 / PMBOK)
- Diverse industry experience
- Demonstrated highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- High level experience in the planning and design of complex project schedules within a multi project and diversified environment
- Proven track record of successfully supporting project delivery on time, budget and within quality parameters
Understanding of governance - Demonstrated technical experience in the following functions or systems:
o Ability to achieve objectives and conduct work planning, utilising project management principles o Production of reports, schedules o Working with minimal supervision on assigned projects or tasks, either alone or as part of a team o Promoting cooperative working relationships with clients and staff
Desirable Criteria: - A degree or diploma (or equivalent qualification) in Engineering ????? ????? Science
- Demonstrated IT and Telecommunications industry experience
- An understanding of/experience with SAP would be advantageous
