The Automotive Trainer will be responsible for the practical delivery of the curriculum for the Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and assisting any other staff teaching in that course, for teaching classes in their course area, for the curriculum development, delivery, assessment of student work and reporting results each term.
Your responsilities will include :
- Demonstrating effective teaching practices;
- Teaching of timetabled classes;
- Delivery of current curriculum according to VET Training Package in course area;
- On-going development of curriculum in course area, including provision of detailed curriculum outlines for each course area;
- Ensuring student academic performance is maximized;
- Implementing student polices outlined by Ozford College in relation to student attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Training;
- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology;
- Relevant industry experience required.
