The Bureau is seeking an experienced analyst/programmer for its new graphical Forecast and Warning System. The focus of this role is on the forecast database, forecast product development and the development of web-based monitoring ????? ????? tools. You will be working as a member of an experienced team of senior IT and meteorological professionals. The application is a significant new forecast and warning preparation system for public weather, severe weather, marine weather and fire weather forecasts and warnings. Experience with Python, XML, XSLT and Oracle SQL & PL/SQL is essential.
