The Bureau is seeking an experienced software test specialist to develop and co-ordinate the test program for its new graphical Forecast and Warning System. The primary responsibility will be to review the current test regime, to design and develop test plans, procedures and specifications and to manage and co-ordinate pre-release testing and special testing projects. You will be working as part of an experienced team of IT and meteorological professionals. The application is a significant new forecast and warning preparation system for public weather, severe weather, marine weather and fire weather forecasts and warnings. A knowledge of formal testing methodologies combined with practical hands-on skills will be highly regarded.
