The Australian Bureau of Statistics is currently seeking a Mathematics teacher on a non ongoing basis for 2010. The successful applicant will join the Education Services Unit and will primarily focus on, and provide leadership in, the development of teaching materials for use across Australia.   He/she will also be required to develop and deliver teacher workshops aimed at increasing the statistical literacy and capability of practising teachers. 

The successful applicant must be professional, self-motivated, able to demonstrate initiative, meet tight time lines and understand the education sector.
