Due to ongoing projects our client, the State's primary authority on roads, requires a Surveyor to join the team based out of Kew. The client is open to applicants who are of a mid -  senior level.  The position involves a variety of tasks involving both fieldwork and computer aided design.

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver professional Survey services to clients. Specifically it entails:

• Conducting / assisting with surveys, including operating in the field and officework including the drafting, preparation and other associated documentation required for survey plans
• Utilising technical and professional survey expertise in undertaking surveys for internal and external clients
• Provision of limited survey advice on cadastral and engineering ????? ?????

Key skills and requirements to carry out the role successfully include:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in geomatics or related area OR equivalent knowledge and experience
• Experience and understanding of conducting engineering, control and cadastral surveys
• Proficient in specialised surveying and land information systems and software
• Well developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, together with a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with internal and external customers
