This builder/develop is one of Melbournes most prominent, developing and building a range of commercial and mixed use developments for themselves, as well as a select range of clients. With two additional projects to start late 2009 and early 2010 they are seeking to appoint a new project team (Project Manager and Site Manager) to oversee one of these key projects. To be considered for these roles it is important that you have a strong track record in the delivery of medium or high rise apartment projects.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all time, budget and quality aspects of one of these building projects You must be an effective communicator with the ability to delegate and mange the project team. With both projects in the inner city you must be an effective communicator and demonstrate proven skills in IR.
As Site Manager, you will be involved in the project from the very beginning, programming and planning the project from Head Office before undertaking site establishment in late November or December. With both projects involving basement structure and 3-6 storeys you must have strong structures grounding and experience in tower cranes. You will have the support of Foreman level staff at various project stages. You must be able to demonstrate best practise in OH&S and IR and have a natural aptitude for planning, programming and pushing the job forward.
