Hybrid role - statutory and strategic workload

An exciting opportunity exists with one of the Growth Area councils based west of the CBD, with an increased workload there is plenty of diversity within the role offer a mix of development plans, Planning scheme amendments, and policy development. 

Responsibilities;

• Providing advice and assistance to junior planners
• Assessment of major development application
• Preparation of development plans
• Involvement in planning scheme amendments
• Consultation with communities and developers

Ideally you will be:

• Tertiary qualified in planning
• Experienced in a Statutory and Strategic Planning environment
• Happy to work in a team environment
• Pleasant and courteous in nature
• A good verbal and written communicator
