Working with a Government body outside Melbourne in a rural city environment, provides excellent job security and an excellent variety of urban and rural projects, to keep your job varied and interesting.  A statutory planner is required for development assessment works of mid level complexity applications.

Reporting to the Team Leader your main responsibilities will be:

• Report writing to support development assessments
• Involvement in economic, social and environmental planning
• Provision of customer service

Ideally you will be:

• Tertiary qualified in planning
• Experienced in a planning environment within Victoria (Advantageous)
• Comfortable within a team environment
• Pleasant and courteous in nature
• Have good verbal and communication skills.
• Have excellent time management skills

A great opportunity to develop your planning skills further within a Local Authority setting, with potential for future advancement.
