Our client is a diverse, successful and award winning Design & Construct builder with offices throughout Australia.  Projects extend to the value of $100M and typically include office, industrial, leisure and retail facilities.  Within Victoria this business has gone from strength to strength and is now in the favourable position of adding an Intermediate Estimator to their exceptional team of staff.

This is a company that offers its employees the chance for internal development and as such this role will fill the void created through promoting the current incumbent into a more senior position.  An excellent training and development program is available to those candidates that shine and want to achieve, and it is expected you will quickly move into a more senior position once you have had the chance to prove your capabilities.

Within this role your responsibilities will include:

• Formulation and submission of tenders
• Quantifying, pricing, estimation
• Client, subcontractor and colleague liaison/negotiation
• Preparation of cost plans and cost estimates

It is anticipated that all candidates suitable to this position will have a minimum of 3 years experience within quantity surveying or estimation on good sized commercial projects throughout Australia.  You will ideally hold relevant construction related tertiary qualifications and have both the drive and communication skills required to excel in a position such as this.  On offer is a generous salary package alongside a healthy bonus scheme.
