Our client is busy!  They’re not busy because they have gone in undercutting their competition, they are busy because they offer their clients a quality service and as a result have a lot of repeat business as well as new clients coming to them all the time through word of mouth.  This is a business model that has worked for this company since it was established and one that sees them having a secure workload even through these quite times in the industry.

As a company they focus on medium density residential developments as well as small commercial and mixed use developments.  They would be classified as a small practice but are in need of an experienced Draftsperson to help deliver projects within the office.

This position will see the successful applicant responsible for not only producing working drawings themselves but also managing a team of drafters in house as well as overseeing external contract drafting staff to ensure work is being produced accurately and to deadline.  To be considered for this role it is therefore essential that you have solid building construction knowledge in steel frame, reinforced concrete as well as timber frame and can apply this knowledge to any project type.  Specific knowledge of Rescode will also be essential as will extensive local experience.
