About the Opportunity
Victoria Daly Shire Council has an exciting opportunity for a
Shire Services Manager to oversee staff and services in the remote Victoria Daly Shire.
Based in Yaralin and reporting to the CEO, the primary responsibility of this position is to
provide a high standard of community services, supporting the health and well being of the community. You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of 12 work areas and approximately 100 employees of the Shire Council in the community and surrounding ward.
This is a Senior leadership position and accordingly, the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in successfully managing a range of service delivery activities and programs in a collaborative manner.
You will work in a
welcoming, supportive and close-knit environment. Enjoy plenty of variety in this role, as you work closely with a
dedicated group of team leaders in a range of areas including civil services, aged care, child care, sports & rec, Centrelink, family care and the CDEP program.

The Shire Services Manager will be rewarded with a
competitive salary circa $66,475 - $70,438 + 9% superannuation, and a
vehicle for both work and personal use.
