Baytech is seeking a fully qualified heavy diesel mechanic for work in the Northern Suburbs to carry out maintenance and repairs on all items of council plant and equipment including minor body repairs, fabrication and welding.
To be considered for this role you must be trade qualified and experienced in waste trucks and garbage compactor technology with sound knowledge of electrics, hydraulics and MIG welding.
Knowledge of MacDonald Johnston products is a distinct advantage.
You will work in a rewarding small team environment, large modern and clean workshop on day shift with the possibility of overtime on occasion. Successful candidates will have;
- Qualifications as a Diesel Mechanic
- Strong commitment to safety in the workplace
- Skills in fault finding and diagnostics
- Initiative, take pride in your work, be reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a small team environment
- HR Licence is an advantage
