Procurement Manager - Motor Insurance - Fleet Our client, based on the St Kilda Rd end of the CBD, is a global business process outsourcer to the insurance industry. With over 2000 staff employed worldwide, they are proud to be recognised as an employer of choice within their industry.
This large organisation provides Accident and Claims Management services to the fleet insurance sectors, and offers streamlined, system driven solutions to their corporate clients.
A select, newly created opportunity now exists for a Procurement Manager with entrepreneurial flair to join the team, reporting to the Executive of Operations.
The Role - Analyse current transactional business model and identify potential areas for revenue generation
- Identify creative opportunities to generate new business revenue streams
- Initiate and manage the ongoing development of third party supplier network
- Auditing and quality control activity
- Influence change through continuous improvement, and exchange of ideas
Your skills - Solid experience in the fleet, motor insurance or related industry essential
- Experience in purchasing and procurement, negotiation and contract management
- Auto Technical skills i.e. body repair, mechanical repair are highly desirable, but not essential
- Entrepreneurial and commercial background
- Strong systems and reporting skills
- Able to demonstrate total client service focus
