Business Government Traineeship

My client is a Government Department located in the Melbourne CBD. The position of Trainee will support the business operations in the department by providing general finance and administrative support while undertaking a Certificate III in Business Administration.
This position offers a motivated trainee the opportunity to develop skills across a wide variety of activities, and to work with a team that services the varied needs of the team’s dynamic research activities.

The position includes:
- Data Entry;
- Administration
- Filing;
- General administrative functions (e.g. Photocopying/phones);
- Support meeting organisation (organising catering, supplies and set-up)

Key Selection Criteria:

- Ability to apply and use standard office equipment;
- Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes);
- Initiative;
- Organisational skills;
- Ability to work autonomously
- Willingness to learn; and
- Attention to detail
