    Overview

     

    The Examinations Officer is responsible for the coordination of examinations for the Surgical Education and Training (SET) program. The incumbent will work in a small team and will assist the Manager, Examinations Department, by ensuring ????? ????? of efficient and effective coordination and administration of examinations for the Surgical Education and Training (SET) program.
    The incumbent must be able to work outside of regular business hours including weekends and travel interstate during ????? ????? (usually twice per year).
     
    The key areas of responsibility are:
    • Coordination and administration of the Fellowship and specialty examinations including processing applications, producing candidate lists, preparing ????? ?????’s folders, ensuring ????? ?????, catering ????? ????? has been booked 
    • Maintenance of examinations database
    • Responding to issues and queries
    • Preparing ????? ????? taking minutes as required
    • Coding invoices and reimbursements, process payments, maintain records of paperwork sent to Finance and follow up on timely payment when necessary
    The ideal candidate will possess the following education, experience and skills:
    • Successful completion of a certificate or diploma in office administration or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    • Substantial administration experience within a complex, professional office environment.
    • Experience in coordination or management of events
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, remain organised and work well under pressure and strict deadlines
    • Advanced computer skills - using databases, Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access
