Finance & Reporting Manager

    The primary purpose of this role is to lead a team of Business Analysts responsible for all financial and reporting requirements for the Telstra Property Team and Telstra's property portfolio.  You will also be a member of the Telstra Property Senior Leadership Team and will be required to lead and promote the PLT values.
     
    Key accountabilities within this role include:

    • Compilation of all Telstra Property reports with the primary focus on ensuring ????? ????? Property meets all of its obligations, in terms of time and content for all Board, Program Office, Procurement and F&A reporting
    • Financial Modelling of major transactions
    • Stakeholder Management within F & A, particularly Tax, Treasury, RM&A and other internal service provider Finance representatives
    • Vendor Management
    • Auditing
    • Business Council Review Meetings
    • Accounts Payable
    • Budget preparation
    • Capital Works Accounting
    • Building and sustaining an effective team to meet the business objectives, working in conjunction with all Telstra Property team to establish and manage finance and reporting data quality (to meet the company's commercial and technical needs)
    • Implementing change initiatives across the team improving productivity
    To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the ability to lead a team of business analysts to meet the finance and reporting objectives of Telstra Property and the broader business. You will have good attention to detail and excellent communication and negotiation skills.  You will have the ability to break down a problem and deliver alternative solutions.  You will also have experience in reporting and analysis with excellent Excel skills.
     
    You will develop and maintain a high performing team that produces accurate and timely reporting and analysis. Your knowledge of business performance results will allow you to provide insightful analysis on key performance indicators. You will meet your stakeholder's expectations and be able to provide leadership in reporting processes and provide alternative solutions to deliver the reporting requirements of the business.
     
    Tertiary qualifications in business and/or finance or equivalent experience and other qualifications such as CA or CPA are required.
