Located in the CBD, this Energy company services Australia nationally and has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Billing Analyst to join their vibrant team. This company specialises in servicing SME and corporate organisations and focuses on their needs in providing competitive rates and excellent customer service. The Billing Analyst role offers an opportunity to work in a dedicated and specialist team providing ongoing maintenance and support of the retail billing system. You will act as a subject matter expert for Billing Production in the organisation, as well as ensure invoices are sent out correctly and on time.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Liaise closely with the operations group and resolve with the business any billing issues  that may arise
• Perform reconciliations to internal and external accounts to ensure that the regulatory requirements are met
• Responsible for weekly and end month bill run for every billing cycle
• Responsible for clearing ????? ????? and interval data exceptions
• Making sure customers don’t fall into unbilled category
• Answering ????? ????? customer enquiries related to their bills.

To be successful you will require the following :-

• Extensive industry experience in billings is imperative
• Analytical and proven problem skills
• Ability and proven experience with MSATS
• Proficient user of MS Excel and/or Access
• SQL knowledge is required along with Proven Industry experience
• Distinguish between Bundle and Unbundle Billing
• Awareness of Data, Invoicing and Meter read Issue
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Able to work as part of a team
• Able to build relationships and have flexibility and initiative
