An exciting opportunity exists to join our dynamic and professional Airport Operations team responsible for Security Day of Operations.
Reporting to the Security Operations Manager and Duty Managers, the primary responsibility of the Security Operations Coordinator is to ensure the effective, efficient and pro-active coordination of the day to day security operations and security compliance in accordance with security standards and practises, the Transport Security Program, legislative requirements and the Airport Emergency Plan.
This is a shift position and the incumbent will be required to perform the primary role of Security Operations Coordinator relief as well as Terminal Services Coordinator relief duties and support to the security department according to operational demands and shift relief demands.
Proven leadership skills are an essential requirement of the role as is a strong decision making capability. To be successful you will possess integrity, strong work ethics, communication skills and will be a motivated self starter. You will also have a successful track record of competently managing people in an operational environment, ensuring compliance and strong capabilities in interacting with people at all levels of the business. A NSW Security Licence is desirable, but not essential; however, the successful candidate would be expected to acquire a NSW Security licence.
