Two exciting opportunities exist to join our dynamic and professional team, responsible respectively for planning in the area of aviation capacity, and managing the operations on the airfield.
Reporting to the Planning & Development Manager, your primary responsibility is to optimise airfield and airspace capacity outcomes for by working with internal and external stakeholders and industry groups to achieve best utilisation of ’ assets within the regulatory environment and safety.
A proven self starter, you will assist the Planning & Development Manager in providing strategic analysis in relation to the development and use of airfield assets, develop strategies on required airfield capacity improvements and develop aeronautical studies to facilitate introduction of new technologies and/or changed operations on the airfield.
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, airport planning/design, aviation management or equivalent with proven experience in the areas of airport infrastructure. Knowledge of capacity management principals and the regulatory regime in operation at as well as and ICAO standards is highly desirable. You will demonstrate a strong decision making capability and ability to achieve results and meet deadlines. Highly developed communication, analytical and interpersonal skills are also essential.
