TRAINEE OPERATIONS MANAGER

 



Trainee Operations Manager sought for cleaning and labour hire company based in Malvern . Applicant must have the capacity to manage staff and provide an exceptional level of customer service to clientele. All applicants must be well spoken and professionally presented. Key selection criteria to include, (but not limited to,):

 

  1. Ability to create and manage of rosters (Rostering);
  2. Ability to undertake on-site inspections (Performance Management);
  3. Ability to liaising with staff and company clientele (PR);
  4. Ability to remain on-call (during and outside of working hours) in order to respond to client request for additional labour in addition to the back-filling of existing shifts;
  5. Ability to respond to staff request/s for time-off and back-filling of shifts as required;
  6. Ability to advertise, interview and recruit new staff and sub-contractor’s;
  7. Ability to assist in the reconciliation of staff time sheets (as part of the payroll process);
  8. Ability to assist in the reconciliation of invoices (as part of the accounts receivable process);
  9. Ability to assist with on-site quotations (where required);
  10. Ability to provide comprehensive and accurate reports to both management and clientele alike (regarding staff and site management);
  11. Ability to conduct OH&S on-site assessments;
  12. Ability to train and motivate staff;
  13. Ability to perform cleaning duties (if required); and
  14. Ability to meet deadlines.

The appointment of the Trainee Operations Manager will be a newly created role within MCorp Property Services Pty. Ltd. (“MCorp”) and will involve full training (both in-house and on-site in addition to OH&S certification training) and will report to the Manager of Operations and the Director.

 

Short-listed applicant/s will need to partake in a Police records check in addition to referee checks of previous employers and any post-secondary qualification/s will be checked. The successful candidate will be employed subject to MCorp’s employment policies including a six month probation period.

 

REMUNERATION

 

0-6 months (probation period/training period): $45,000.00 p.a.

6-18 months: $50,000.00 p.a.

 

Above salary + Superannuation + Company Vehicle (fuel and associated expenses) + Company Mobile phone in addition to professional working environment, facilities and equipment.
