RecruitR is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Senior Geologist to join a leader in the Australian coal mining industry. By operating multiple open cut and underground mines in NSW & QLD it means your career development is ensured and job is secure.
This position is based a couple of hours from the QLD coast in a town that provides all the amenities that you need.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager you will be required to provide geological services to the operations & planning teams to ensure that coal is mined to the correct specifications and in a safe and efficient manner. This role has one report.
We are looking for someone with:
Tertiary qualifications in Geology
Experience in large open cut operations (bulk commodity experience is essential)
Strong interpersonal skills
