Our client is looking for a Senior Mine Surveyor to join their team in the Bowen Basin. Your will be based just a few hours from the beautiful Queensland coastline in this residential role, offering ????? ????? remuneration package and excellent benefits. You will be working on a family friendly 7 days on 7 days off roster and will report to the Technical Services Manager.

You will be an integral part of the surveying team and be able to hit the ground running in this senior position. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Site surveying duties
• End of month volumetric surveys and reconciliations
• Accurate and consistent survey control
• Maintaining financial control
• Compliance with safety standards
• Supervision of junior surveyors

In order to be successful in this role you will hold tertiary qualifications in Surveying, be a Registered Mine Surveyor (or able to gain registration in a short time frame), have a minimum of 5 years experience in an underground coal mining environment (ideally within Australia) and be familiar with Vulcan and Auto-cad software.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $120k to $140k plus benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
