Exciting opportunity exists for a short-term to medium-term planning engineer to step into a reputable mining company offering ????? ????? salary, benefits and career growth. The position is a residential role; working on a 5-2 roster on an open-cut coal mine based a few hours outside Mackay.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating all daily short-term to medium-term planning activities for the mine site
• Conducting planning and reports of business and budget statistics
• Performing all daily, weekly and quarterly statistical reports
• Re-forecasting monthly statistical reports against budget
• Partaking in mine project developments as needed

Ideally you will possess:

• Degree in Engineering (Mining)
• 3-5 years experience in a similar mine planning role
• Experience with Xpac software
• Ability to communicate plans and facilitate relevant meetings

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90k - $130k. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
