One of Australia’s leading contractors in the mining and construction sector, with more than 6,000 employees, has a current requirement for a Mine Surveyor.

The role is based at one of their large open cut coal mines. This represents an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that holds safety in the highest regard and is dedicated to continuous improvement methods and the development of their employees.

As a member of the technical services team you will be responsible for delivering mine surveying services, contribute initiatives and professional input for the site

Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, you will have considerable experience as a Surveyor in a mining environment. Experience with Surpac and Autocad software is also desirable.

This role will offer you a broad range of survey work including set-out control calculations and conducting day to day surveys.   Production calculation for End of Month volumes is a key responsibility.  It will be essential to provide survey information to the Engineering and Geology departments as required.

To be qualified for this role you will hold a surveying degree or recognised qualification.
