You are a tertiary qualified mining engineer with at least seven years experience preferably in an open cut coal environment.  You enjoy working with a dynamic and focused team of professionals who are committed to the success of this iconic Hunter Valley operation.  You will be joining a Global leader that is offering ????? ????? career progression and a very enticing remuneration package.
 
Our client is a world leader in resource exploration, mining and processing and is a formidable force in the domestic coal producing market.  With interests in NSW and Queensland, our client operates a number of mine in the Bowen Basin.  As a Senior Mining Engineer, you will be able to demonstrate technical skills and leadership qualities that are commensurate with the expectations of the role.  
 
With a direct line to the Technical Services Manager, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing long term mine plans as well as improving mine efficiency and productivity.  You will effectively lead the team of engineers and work closely with the other staff within the Technical Services Department.  Furthermore, you will maintain a strong focus on safety and data analysis and experience with software programs such as Vulcan and MapTech is preferred.
