Fantastic opportunity exists for a qualified mining engineer to join an established mining company one of their exciting open cut operations in the Bowen Basin.
You will be a vital member of the mining engineering team responsible for the planning, coordination and improvement of mining plans and resource utilisation and will receive second-to-none training and development, impressive salary and benefits package, subsidised housing and competitive performance bonuses.
Responsibilities will include:
- Weekly / monthly dragline reports
- Design of dragline plans for optimising dragline efficiency
- Medium term dragline designs (18 months), including design lines, sections, prestrip horizon & volumes/reserves (including prestrip volume)
- Continuous improvement of dragline designs/operations
Ideally, you will possess- Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with mine design software
- Prior dragline experience on dragline operations
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $105k - $120k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for exceptional candidates
