This organization provides rail infrastructure solutions across the infrastructure, electrification, communications and signalling systems groups. They provide rail solutions for a wide range of private and government clients throughout Australia and New Zealand involved in workshop production and offering turnkey installation projects through to commissioning, handover and ongoing maintenance.
Currently in their Rail division in Jillian, 1 hour from Mackay, they are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Technician with locomotives experience.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
- Commissioning, warranty repairs, faultfinding and preventative maintenance on locomotives
- Completing commissioning and service reports
- Complying with OH and S procedures
- Participating in on the job training and required development courses
- Inspecting safety equipment on a monthly basis
The ideal applicant will have their electrical trade certificate and a developed knowledge through experience in commissioning locomotives. You should also have the ability to carry out fault finding and test execution unsupervised whilst also having the social skills to work in a self driven team environment.
