They are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer in their Mackay office to provide a wide range of structural engineering services for clients, providing consulting advice and preparing designs, reports and contract documentation. The role will have a focus on infrastructure, light industrial and commercial projects. You will have the following experience:
Conceptual design to detailed design for reinforced concrete and steel structures
Experience in light industrial and commercial projects (heavy industrial experience such as mining or oil and gas is not required)
A background in roads, bridges, factories highly desirable
Strong consultancy and business development background highly desirable
RPEQ or CPeng registrations advantageous
Provide professional guidance and leadership to less experienced members of the discipline and assist in their personal development
Extensive experience with Australian engineering standards and be eligible to work in Australia
You will have tertiary qualifications in Engineering and be eligible for entry to the Engineers Australia or equivalent, experience with demonstrated experience in commercial and industrial projects.
