Hays are currently working with a leading brand name within the manufacturing sector who are now looking to recruit for a Management Accountant to take ownership of the day to day finance operations for a particular site based out in South-Western Sydney.



Your proven self motivation will enable you to perform autonomously within this multi-faceted role in which the main responsibilities include:

• Preparation of financial statements
  
• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
  
• Preparation and lodgement of monthly Hyperion reports
  
• Maintenance of the integrity of BOM's
  
• Develop and recommend cost accounting procedures and controls
  
• Weekly KPI reporting for the site
  
• Oversee periodic Inventory valuations
  
• Preparation of forecasts and budgets according to specific timetables
  
• SOX compliance
  
• Control of, and reporting on, CAPEX requests
  
• Staff management of a small team

To be successful in this role you must be CA/CPA qualified, have proven experience in the manufacturing industry, which should include exposure to costings, experience with ERP systems and Hyperion reporting coupled with advanced Excel.
