As a partner with some of the largest Rail projects in Australia, we are urgently seeking your skills for the position of Site Supervisor / Project Officer. Providing rail services for NSW, this organization is currently undertaking a number of high profile projects and requires your services as an experienced Site Supervisor with Project Management experience. The role will include:
- Monitoring ????? ????? construction activities of the Contractor
- Measure works to determine the Contractors entitlements to payment
- Assist Project Manager in administering ????? ????? for the works
- Provide ongoing reports to the Project Manager
- Report on Contractors performance
- Routinely inspect works in progress to verify compliance
- Inspect the state of works at various hold points
- Prior to post completion, evaluate Contractors completion of works, and prepare lists of defects
- Ensure compliancy to the organisations safety management system at all times.
You will possess:
- Experience of working on civil/building construction site as a supervisor/foreman
- Familiar with Rail Operations and safe working procedures
- Understand contract management principals
- Knowledge of project Estimating and budgeting procedures
- Able to identify all safety aspects and risks associated with the removing and disposal of asbestos materials
- Have past experience with building construction, building services and supervision of maintenance works to existing buildings
- Familiar with works related with heritage requirements
- Able to take measurements and determine quantities
- General Construction Industry OH&S Induction
This will be offered as an initial 12months contract position with possible extensions. A current drivers Licence is a must as travel to sites is required.
