Training and Placement Officer, Direct Employment
Due to recent growth in business we are seeking Training & Placement Officers on a (3) three year fixed term contract with a possibility of contract extension. This position is based in South Western Sydney, it will see you generate job opportunities and directly market people with a disability to find meaningful employment.
Essential Criteria
- Willingness to work within CatholicCare’s Mission and Vision
- Current unrestricted NSW driver’s licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and internet.
- Good organisational and planning skills including ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A broad understanding of both the barriers faced by people with a disability to finding meaningful employment, as well as ways to assist with and address these barriers.
