OVERSEER (TRADE) TEXTILES, Corrective Services Industries, 5 Days, Lithgow Correctional Centre, Permanent Full-Time (2 positions).
Vacancy Number: (??) ???? ????PC. Total remuneration package valued at $71,658 pa, including fixed salary of $62,486 pa, employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. An Incidental allowance (currently $2,451 pa) also applies during ????? ????? this position. Responsible for the supervision of offenders to ensure a high level of productivity within the textiles unit in accordance with production schedules of quality system procedures.
Selection Criteria: Trade qualification in the textiles manufacturing ????? ????? extensive proven experience. Experience in supervising work in a production environment and demonstrated ability to motivate, supervise and instruct unskilled workers. An understanding of manufacturing ????? ????? systems. Sound communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and knowledge of quality/OH&S management systems and customer service principles. Experience in operating within set budgets and operational plans. Commitment to the implementation of the Way Forward principles and Work Readiness program. Willingness and ability to work in a flexible manner within a team environment. Current driver's licence and have a willingness/ability to drive within NSW.

All successful applicants must hold a First Aid Certificate prior to taking up an offer of employment however it is not essential to possess this qualification at the time of applying. This position requires the successful applicant to be physically involved in tasks related to the position.
