We are searching for a replacement Business Development & Marketing Manager. Experience and qualifications in marketing, architecture, medicine or dentistry would be an advantage. Job Description:

To plan and carry out marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of LDA’s architectural, interior and graphic & marketing departments, in accordance with agreed business plans.

Oversee all internal and client marketing, advertising and promotional activities. Establish marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives. Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan changes as needed.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
As Business Development Manager:

  1. Maintain and develop a customer and prospect database.
  2. Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, services range and timescales.
  3. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, presentations and personal visits.
  4. Prepare Design Fee Proposals, quotations and continuing work costings for each department as required.
  5. Conduct appropriate sales / negotiations and follow-ups to secure new business and promote on-sell of existing business.
  6. Development of necessary sales / marketing tools to facilitate the sales process.
  7. Maintain and develop existing and new customers from initial enquiry to conversion.
  8. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
  9. Client relationship management, negotiation and public relations - ensure appropriate customer satisfaction levels for new clients, current and previous clients.
  10. Carry out market research, competitor and client satisfaction surveys.
  11. Coordinate and attend industry exhibitions and company functions necessary to perform duties, aid business development and organisational development.
  12. Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
     

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
As Marketing Manager:

  1. Management of the LDA brand within the market place. Setting and adhering to established design protocols to ensure consistency and professionalism of presentation in all forms of correspondence.
  2. Prepare copy, design direction and oversee production for a wide range of marketing collateral relating to and the promotion of LDA’s projects.
  3. Coordination, art direction and management of resources for internal marketing materials and projects including: web site, brochures, mass-mail distribution flyers, in-house stationery, promotional client gifts etc.
  4. Responsible for the expansion and promotion of the LDA brand – coordination of trade exhibitions, submission to design awards, power point presentations, advertising programs.
  5. Coordinate bi-monthly articles and advertising in industry publications, including writing a marketing column, Q & A Style Guide, and compilation of surgery design features for each edition.
  6. Research and implement expansion into alternate industry publications within the medical sector.
  7. Responsible for the organisation and implementation of professional photo shoots upon project completion to facilitate promotion of projects.
    Coordinate, art direct and update the LDA Healthcare Interiors and Graphics & Marketing digital and hard copy portfolios.
  8. Responsible for client presentations, negotiation, and converting sales.
  9. Prepare Design Fee Proposals, quotations and continuing work costings for Graphics and Marketing projects.
