Advanced Case Worker

The major emphasis of Therapeutic Foster Care is the provision of high quality care based on a thorough understanding of the child.
The program is delivered in partnership by Anglicare Victoria, the Australian Childhood Foundation and Department of Human Services in the Eastern Metropolitan Region.
The major element of this program is the provision of a therapeutic environment in all interactions. This will be achieved by an inclusive care team approach, provision of specialised therapeutic support to carers, carer training and developing a support network. Applicants should posses advanced case work skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders and a sound knowledge of the out of home care system. You will need to be tertiary qualified in Social Work or related discipline.
