38 Storeman, Forklift Drivers, Pickers & Packers Required Immediately Start (Update 26/11/2009)

One of our clients who has a long established history with modern cold storage facilities in Laverton.

They are seeking 38 new motivated and hardworking Storeman and Forklift Drivers, Pickers & Packers to work in this warehouse.

The roles start off as casual positions (approximately 37.50 hours per week- guarantee!) progressing into permanent full time positions.

Day shifts and afternoon shifts are available.

 When you become full time, your pay rate will be increased:

Storeperson’s key responsibilities include:

-          Operating a Forklift
-          Picking and packing orders (experience with Pallet Transporter advantage)
-          Receiving and dispatch of items
-          RF Scanning operation
-          General store work duties
 

Requirements:

Successful applicants should have the following skills and experience to apply for the positions:

• Experience in operate a Forklift (at least 6 months experience)
• Picking and packing orders with Pallet Transporter (essential).
• Receive and dispatch of items.
• Operating of Reach Forklift (preferable but not necessary)
• RF Scanning experience (preferable but not necessary).
• Reasonable English communication skills.
• Have good calculation skills (advantage)
• Must have your own transport
• Must be able to work in a cold storage environment (no asthma)

In addition, you should also be able to demonstrate your maturity and reliability with a strong work ethic.

You may be required to obtain a LF (Forklift Licence) & a LO (Order Picker Licence) before you can start the position. However, if you haven't got these licences but have the experience then you are encouraged to apply. We can assist you to get these licences later on.
