System Integration Architects are currently sought by Hays IT to join one of Tasmania's largest employers in Launceston for a 12 month fixed term contract.
 
Only candidates with the following knowledge and experience should apply.
 
Essential 

• Systems analysis and design methodologies especially as they relate to systems integration.
• Experience having been gained on Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Demonstrated sound analytical and problem solving skills plus good process and information modelling skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of programming languages that include either of Java or C++ or C#. Knowledge of Perl will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of the job designing and implementing data and process integrations. Knowledge of Web Services, BPEL process orchestration and Enterprise Service Bus architectures and technologies will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated work in a role involving the architecting of systems and systems integrations. Knowledge of service design for Service Oriented Architectures will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills with particular emphasis on the capacity to interact and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.  Demonstrated high level documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

The System Integration Architect will also seek to understand the potential for re-architecting existing integrations into more near real time process based workflows that improves the services provided to staff.
