Reporting to the General Manager (CEO), and joining a highly cohesive executive team, you will operate at a strategic level to guide the planned and orderly development of the natural and built environment. You will play a critical role in developing Councils planning scheme and you will work with others across the region to guide the Regional Land Use Plan. You will oversee engagement with the community in reducing its carbon footprint, enhancing air quality and protecting the citys valued environment. Further, you will oversee Community Development and ensure strategic outcomes identifi ed in the community plan are delivered.You are a highly regarded strategic leader with a proven track record in local government. Admired for your well developed public presentation skills and a record of successfully engaging with stakeholders, you also have a reputation as a dynamic, resilient, results focused and collegiate leader.
