Invermay Primary Schooland Rocherlea Primary SchoolCHAPLAINSInvermay Primary School and Rocherlea Primary School are seeking toappoint chaplains under the National Schools Chaplaincy Program fundedby the Federal Government. As the employer of these school chaplains,Scripture Union Tasmania is inviting applications from suitably qualifiedand/or experienced people to work under the school chaplaincy guidelinesestablished by the Department of Education and the Tasmanian Council ofChurches (these guidelines can be viewed at mycareer.com.au ).Potential applicants should be able to accept, respect and relate to allmembers of the diverse school community, be actively involved in aChristian community, have experience and confidence in working withyoung people, preferably have appropriate qualifications (e.g. in youthwork, counselling, teaching, or theology) and agree with the Aims Beliefsand Working Principles of Scripture Union booklet (available mycareer.com.au positions are for 2 days (15.2 hrs) per week at each school.
