An opportunity exists for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our Family Services Team at Lalor. This position involves outreach, office based roles and in-home skill development with the aim of strengthening parenting capacity, achieving developmental milestones and family resilience.
We are looking for someone with well developed assessment skills, the ability to effectively engage children, young people and their families, demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with families and the capacity to identify family strengths and competencies, in order to facilitate positive change. A current driver’s licence and a relevant tertiary qualification are essential. This position is classified at the SACS Award, Social Worker Class 2.
