The organisation provides services in supported accommodation, supported employment and aged care for over 1200 people. New Horizons' non-profit commercial packaging service specialises in providing solutions for commercial clients while providing employment for people with a disability.

 
About the Opportunity

New Horizons has an exciting opportunity for a permanent Support Worker to join the team in Lake Macquarie.

The Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) program provides community care to individuals who have a severe functional limitation resulting from a mental illness. This is a full time position only.

To be considered for this role, it is a genuine requirement to be a qualified male support worker. In this position an applicant's gender is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised by section 31 & 51 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1997 of NSW, as amended.
