We have registered another fantastic opportunity with one of our long-term clients and require a Mine Surveyor  for one of their more established operations. The company, currently operating a number of  underground mines, has focused on building technical teams built on passion, respect and technical competence.

The Mine Surveyor (Underground) is a newly created role that will work on a FIFO roster from Perth. This position will work as part of a medium sized mine surveying team and will benefit from significant support & guidance from the on-site Senior Surveyor. You will take responsibility for a variety of duties including:

• Diamond and RC drill markups.
• Prism monitoring.
• Underground set-out and pick-ups.
• Good knowledge of Leica Total Stations, GPS & Surpac
• Assist with underground control networks.
• End of month reconciliation and volume calculations.
• Ensuring safety issues, mining regulations and vehicle maintenance are adhered to

• Mine Surveying Certification/Qualifications
• Some exposure to underground environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer literacy - software specific skills not required
