This leading EPCM joint venture in Western Australia has undertaken and completed some of the states largest Iron Ore expansion projects to date, supported by a global resource giant this joint venture is set to sore. The degree of complexity and the seer scope of the project make this a very exciting venture for the professional person.
Now heading into a new phase of rapid growth in the Pilbara the sourcing of a 2 key Area Manager roles are now currently underway.
  
As the Area Manager it is your responsibility to lead, plan, direct and control the construction thru to completion in accordance with specific timelines and project objectives.
  
Main responsibilities will include:
  
Maintenance and responsibility for overall schedule, reporting back to construction manager on all issues pertaining to the project
Development and review of construction planning and monitoring ????? ????? cost, timeline and budgetary requirements
Compliance with HSEC, environmental and quality standards
Contract administration, general site administration and contractor activity
  
This is an extremely demanding role and therefore the requirements are:
  
You will have a demonstrated minimum 15 years management experience in large scale multi million $$ Mine or Rail construction EPCM projects.
A proven track record managing contractors in earthworks, concrete, structural steel, mechanical, electrical and commissioning
Excellent P-6 scheduling and quality systems knowledge
Ability in interface with all levels of personnel and management of large teams
  
It is vital that you be degree qualified in either Civil/Mechanical/Construction Management.
