We are currently seeking an experienced Buyer to join our merchandise team in our Kensington Office, reporting to the Buying Controller in this busy hands on role.

 

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for product selection and development, budget and range planning, achieving sales and margin targets as well as presentation and implementation of promotional strategies to ensure maximum profitability and return.

 

You will have experience in fast moving merchandise and demonstrate both your successful local and overseas sourcing as well as strong negotiation and communication skills.

 

This role requires an experienced buyer who is commercially astute and can demonstrate a history of establishing lasting relationships with suppliers. Previous experience in Buying Christmas, Cards, Wrap or Books will be highly regarded.

A competitive salary including performance bonuses will be negotiated according to experience.
