The Reject Shop is one of the fastest growing and most profitable Discount Variety retailers in . Now operating more than 170 stores nationwide, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team.

 

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be working in a small team in a very fast paced environment based in our head office located in Kensington.

 

Key responsibilities include

·        Processing weekly and monthly payrolls, for approx 3,000 team members

·        Award interpretation and advice

·        Set up new team members

·        Updating personnel files

·        Processing leave entitlements

·        Process terminations

 

To be considered for this position we are looking for

·        Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines

·        Accurate and efficient data entry skills

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Time management skills

 

Candidates with prior work experience within a similar position will be highly regarded.
